New Shell my own

Successfully completed the beginner’s class in Korean archery class, Hwang Hak-jeong
and enrolled in the advanced class.

Now I practiced and prepared to shoot the bow in earnest.
And I had to find the right equipment for me.

Archery does not require a lot of equipment.
Korean bows retain the appearance of primitive bows.
If you have a bow, string, and arrows,
you can do archery.

In the national bow,
a tool called a ‘Kkak-Ji(깍지, Shell)’ is put on the thumb and pull string by hooking the Kkak-Ji.
In addition to the bow, strings, and arrows,
the Kkak-Ji to protect the thumb is essential.

Today I finally got my Shell(Kkak-Ji).
I feel like I’m getting closer to the bow.

There was an image of actor Kim Na-woon
shooting an arrow in the drama I enjoyed a while ago, 「Mr. Sunshine」.

In words of the instructor,
she learned archery in Hwanghakjeong for the drama filming.
Maybe that’s why the appearance in the drama was so perfect.

I didn’t know that when I watched the drama.
As it turned out, I could see how much she practiced.
In the drama, the way she pulls out his hand when giving a shoot is also pulled out perfectly with the on-hand method.
