a Wark Shift

The work schedule is called ‘Work Shift’ in English.
I found it out that the work schedule is the ‘SHIFT’ in English while working at a restaurant.

Now, the word SHIFT is easily accessible in the field of shift work.
I was a student, it was an unfamiliar and novel term for me at that time.
As such, there were many English expressions in everyday life that were not taught in Hackers TOEIC English academy.

Still now, I think that one of the good things about living in Australia is that I can understand daily English, not textbook English, and use it as much as they need.
I have no fear of using English.
In addition, it is good to be able to accept new English expressions without resistance.

My Work Shift is not just a restaurant work schedule.
It was my English teacher.

After spending this weekend,
my SHIFT was with Leader Day on next Monday.
