Soho Street and Lan Kwai Fong
I ate an egg tart at Tai Cheong Bakery,
but since I wasn’t full, I decided to have another hamburger.
In Mid-levels, there are many restaurants and pubs, and there were lots of people even during the day on Cochrane Street.
We postponed drinking a bit and moved on.
Gourmet Burger Union, a handmade burger joint in Soho
I found a handmade burger joint not far from Tai Cheong Bakery.
Gourmet Burger Union(GBU) was located not far from the Mid-levels escalator.

I could customize my burger by choosing my own bread and toppings.
It’s similar to Subway, but burgers and sandwiches have a different feel.
I selected the bread, patty, and vegetables I wanted.
Handmade burger
Although not very large, it still tasted like a healthy handmade burger.
I opted for bacon instead of a patty, giving it a slightly savory twist.
Mid-levels scenery
While eating the burger, I watched people going up and down the Mid-levels escalator.
Locals and tourists were constantly on the move.
Fringe Club
After eating the burger and walking along Hollywood Road, I arrived at Upper Soho.
Contrary to its name, the Fringe Club is a small art center in Soho.
Originally used as a frozen storage space for delivering fresh milk, it’s located near the Lan Kwai Fong intersection.

During the day, Lan Kwai Fong was quiet with not many people around.
Since there were mostly bars and restaurants, I thought of returning in the evening.

During the day, Lan Kwai Fong was empty, with many cars but no people. However, the pronunciation of Lan Kwai Fong varied.

There were many people enjoying day drinking.
Unlike Korea, where there is significant meaning in drinking alcohol, it seemed like people casually had beer when needed during conversations.
I decided to revisit Lan Kwai Fong in the evening and moved on to the next destination.
